About Alexander Stephens

Alexander W. Stephens is a proud member of The Suarez Group, serving residential buyers and sellers in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Alexander comes to real estate from over 20 years in enterprise technology and professional services sales with some of the largest global firms. Before that, Alexander spent eight years in local and state government and politics, five of which were in the administration of New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani. After graduating from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Political Science, Alexander started his professional career on Wall Street in the retail brokerage area and earned his Series 3, 7, 15, and 63 licenses.

A native of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Alexander and his wife relocated to Lakewood Ranch in 2021. Since then, they have fully embraced Florida living, taking in the area’s vibrant local arts scene, nature trails, and beautiful beaches.

A seasoned runner with 20 marathon finishes (including 14 New York City races), Alexander understands that any real estate transaction, like distance running, requires preparation, patience, and discipline to get to the finish line. Whether it is locals looking for a new home or out-of-towners moving to this area, Alexander looks forward to helping you every step of the way in finding your new Florida home.
